HK Government: Seasonal Influenza Vaccination

The Seasonal Influenza Vaccine ("SIV") is an effective means to prevent influenza, and reduce its complications. The Government has been providing subsidised SIV to Hong Kong residents aged 50 or above, in addition to other eligible groups such as children aged between 6 months and 11 year-old, and pregnant women. The 2020/21 Vaccination Subsidy Scheme (“VSS”) was launched on 8 October 2020. 

As a Chamber, we encourage you to promote the vaccine to your employees, particularly those in the age group of 50 to 65, to protect themselves and reduce the risk of transmitting influenza to others.
